Just signed up last night, thought I'd make a quick introduction and share a little about myself. If you hadn't guessed it, I reside in Toronto. My family immigrated to Canada as I was getting ready to begin high school. Fun fact, I was a member of this forum back in 2015, and even dabbled in some Amazon FBA. My account is still active, however, for personal reasons I wanted to start fresh with a new one. I sold through all my inventory on Amazon back then, but it was more of a test to see if I could do it; my priorities at the time were on growing in my career.
Fast forward to today, I'm 34 and an Executive at a company. I make great money, work remote, travel at least once a month, and have a great thing going on paper. But I'm somehow left wondering if this is it - the feeling of dread each morning, staying in bed because I don't want to start my day, endless meetings and false sense of urgency. I often ask myself, If I'm working long hours for someone else, why don't I just go at it myself?
I'm here to engage in interesting conversations, read and learn as much as I can. To scratch an itch. To find purpose. And I'm hopeful that someday soon, I'll exit the slow lane.
