Good morning all! I have been reading these forums for a few weeks now after I read MFL, and I wanted to share my goals and fast lane ideas, and start contributing to the website as much as i can, instead of just browsing.
First off, Im 25 and a full time paramedic. My parents were real estate investors, so growing up i took a big interest in residential real estate investing. For the last couple years I have been on the "sidewalk" i guess you could say, reading everything i could get my hands on. I have read ALL of the guru books, had some mentoring programs, and a lot of it discouraged me. The I found the MFL; Greatest book i have ever read. I started to notice that my entrepreneurial thinking was on the right path, but still way off. And it got me to thinking, and I came up with my fastlane plan.
As I would browse for properties for sale to buy as a rental, a flip, to wholesale, etc I would find it very time consuming as well as annoying going to 20 different sites to find information on just one property to see if its even worth my time going any further. At many real estate investor clubs i visited many investors felt the same way. So this is where my idea comes in to play. I am in the process of having a real estate listing website professionally made for me. My website will be a hybrid between FSBO websites and Loopnet. A listing service for the residential investor in mind, and will have almost all of the information in the one listing to make a quick analysis to see if the investor should pursue this property any further. of course, the investor must do his or her own due diligence, but i would like to simplify the process.
I know this will be a long road of hard work, but i think the hardest part will be getting the initial listings.
