Just in case you guys missed this, yesterday I came here asking on how on the business side on how I should combine my love making short films and all sorts of movies to making any other sort of movie to helping other needs, here is my previous post

"What I want to do right now though is make short films and some how incorporate that with making money and to be control of making my own movies
But I understand business means helping others needs. So what should I do to combine movie making, making money on my own relating to the movies that I make, and at the same time helping others needs?"

Ive been wanting to do this for while but since school is over for now I got more spare to think, plan, read, and research and to start this business experience. After all business is also a learning process that can be done better through experience.
Here are my brainstorming ideas which all involves using a WEBSITE since i know. Some of my friends had better luck doing buisness through internet. Might I remind you that i also have a goal of owning a production company so this will hopefully help get to that goal

Making short films and cell dvds of it, but show some free short films on the website sort of like how bands make make music make a demo and sell their cds on thier own to get themselves out there
Have the website promote other sites
Give life advices and movie making advices -these are ways of helping others

BUT THIS IS WHAT I THINK would work better for me as of RIGHT NOW

Starting a business of filming other peoples events, such as birthday parties, weddings, sports events or any other types of events.-this is the idea I MUST AND WILL DO

So I want to either perhaps put this service of filming events combing with the three other ideas onto one website I mentioned OR have one of each.

I know i'm going to be needing editing camera equipment and dvds to burn which i'm getting this week so that's a given

I want to though get this website and flyers for my filming services out there. What are things you recommend to but on my website and flyers, what are other ways to alert others about this business of filming events? How much should I charge. Should I charge hourly? What should I be keeping in mind when doing this sort of buisness
