Dear Forum,

I already started a business three years ago, brought it up and running and it is quite successful doing a few million revenue by now. As I managed to automate it pretty well meanwhile and I got some good employees who keep it running when I am not around, I now have time to realize some of the other ideas in my head.

From reading I know that there should be several people on here who successfully implemented a lead generation business already. From analyzing SWOT I found several fields where I need to get to know more. Especially these:

- how to determine the worth of a lead for potential customers (without trial and error if possible)
- how best to address potential customers on the lead end (do they have special expectations apart from potential revenue you realized in your lgb ?)
- SEO how to make sure you stay on top once the first copy cats start ? (and they surely will come soon as the field is new for my country yet)
- which revenue models worked best for you and attracted most customers ? (e.g. do you offer a subscription model, do your customers pay per lead only, do you offer (a few) free leads for new customers etc.)
- how do your customers pay (as credit card is kind of unpopular over here)
- Are there any hints on how to keep the conversion rate high and assure the quality of your leads ?

Some more information (if it helps or you are interested):

The total addressable market in Germany is a bit more than 18 million leads per year
Every lead will bring between 60 - 200 € revenue
It best works if it could be offered as a nationwide service for the customers with demand (which includes some rural areas too)

I appreciate any helpful input and reading.

Many thanks in advance :)
