I’ve been thinking of an idea mainly for the writers here and I just wanted to see what others thought. Some may think this is not necessary/needed/wanted but I'm just looking for some opinions. As we have started the book club here and some of use are writers it started me thinking on a system of something like a pre release market testing group for writers. I’m not really sure how it would play out but I was thinking something along the lines of a private release forum/store and book club discussion on the book before it hits the wide market. Something like someone here writes a book that fits with the book club discussion template, like MJ’s or PEERless’s. Those in the club would pre-purchase it and talk about it in a focus group type setting so as to give a taste of what the targeted audience in the wild would think of the book. Doing it online would generally make it an eBook but just looking at the idea. It may be counter productive/redundant not sure.
