I've read the Fastlane and have been reading the boards for a while...great stuff here! I'm currently doing corporate software consulting...yes I know its the time for money sinkhole, I'm definitely looking to exit quickly
I've tried a few different business models in the past. I've gone down the route of e-commerce sites reselling products (got crunched by competition and unreliable suppliers) and Adsense based content sites (too reliant on Google search) without a whole lot of success. I've also tried eBooks (didn't verify need).
I'm currently doing market research for a SaaS business model since I think it hits the 5 points that MJ talks about in the Fastlane and I have a fairly deep background in software and sales. I'm also in discussions on some equity position in a couple SaaS startups as well.
Looking forward to learning and contributing more to the board!
