Hi.
I'm Bryan hailing from Singapore and I'm kind of a newbie here.
Been grinding as a senior software engineer for the past eight years with some big names like Mazda on my resume.
Despite clocking a solid track record, I've got this nagging feeling that something just ain't right.
I'm at crossroads - should I continue to be part of the company payroll or venture into uncharted waters? Start a startup, maybe?
Sure, I have an idea in mind but my tech-heavy experience of 8 years didn't exactly school me in the A to Z of business and the whole drill of setting up a startup.
Guess that's the reality check that hit me hard - I can't go solo on this entrepreneurial journey. So here I am, on the lookout for a partner who knows the ropes.
Meanwhile, I'm grappling with maintaining my mental health and figuring out how I can keep pushing forward in my career, be a fun team player, and step up as a leading engineer.
Often find myself caught up in this solitary battle, sorta feels like I'm wrapped up in my own drama series.
Hope it's okay to pour all this out in my first post!
On a lighter note, I really enjoy being in the company of folks, contributing towards an amazing work culture and surrounding myself with people who share similar passions.
Fingers crossed that things will shape up for the better.
