Not really a rant but i need someone to rant so i can stop lol.

Any tips how i can completely cut off social media? its taking up way too much of my time and its causing problems in real life because I end up trolling and pissing people off, have my fair share of people who want to kick my teeth in.

need to get out of this mindset asap

Any advice?

Find alternative activities that fulfill you so that you don't need to waste your time online.

Or just develop the willpower to stop doing the things you don't want to do.

Get busy...Facebook and social media is a form of escapism, i analyzed that it happens to me when i dont want to face the " real " world, too scared, too doubtful, it becomes a refuge....... ...getting busy and actions rolling is a sure way of staying away of it.

Guilty of trolling and pissing people off here as well.

You are not alone.

delete the app on your phone, seemed to help me. Yet I miss a lot of important questions from people on pages I manage.

With Facebook I just stopped following everybody but groups related to school etc. I still check FB just to see if I didn't get any notifications or PMs though, but that takes like 5 minutes out of my day versus your whole day.

That way you kind of stay in contact with people, but you're not viewing all the crap status updates etc.

Facebook is just one big action fake. Take action, and you won't have this problem.

I don't check FB unless I get an email about a notification or PM - so I don't have to go to Facebook at all if there's nothing to attend to.
Just a matter of settings in FB.

Perhaps I don't understand the problem, but surely it is as simple as:
  1. Delete your accounts.
  2. Develop some self discipline.
  3. Done.
@GraphicKing you ever tried meditating? I think it would be help.
