So Amazon recently slashed their affiliate payouts by up to 80%. This is bad for affiliates and so right now they are probably hurting quite a bit.

BUT, if you have your own product, NOW is the time to offer an affiliate program to blogs, youtube channels, influencers, etc. They would probably gobble the opportunity up and you could potentially do quite well.

Just my $0.02.
