Every month, I have 15-20 people on the tour. They come from all over the world. Their background is varied, including doctors, lawyers, financial advisors, school teachers, airplane pilots, IRS agents, entrepreneurs, real estate agents, builders, engineers, etc. etc…. Many, but not all, are faced with a big challenge at retirement. They have worked all their life but they spent their income on lifestyle instead of planning for their future. The result is that many people facing retirement have little, if any, savings, and no cash flow investments. So they have Social Security and maybe a small pension to live on unless they work for the rest of their life. That’s why they are looking for a more affordable place to live, like Panama.
And that’s why I devoted the conference call on Tuesday to encouraging you to make your real estate investing business a priority. Make financial freedom and financial security a priority. When you turn 65, you don’t want to be in a situation where you have only a $1200 Social Security check to live in.
No matter what age you are, it is not too early or too late to do something about it NOW.
During the conference call, I offered a plan for getting 15 houses free and clear (no mortgage) within 5 years. Even in one year, you will be able to get one house free and clear if you follow the plan I discussed during the call.
This is not theory! This is exactly what I did and it is what you can do too!
If each house produces $1400 per month in rental income, minus $500 a month in taxes, insurance and maintenance, that still leaves $900 per month in real cash flow. Times 10 houses, that’s $9000 per month. Times 15 houses, that’s $13,500 per month. Even if you cut that in half, it’s $6700 per month in income.
Sure beats the heck out of a $1200 per month Social Security check!
