Seems lately Ive been having to deal subcontractor issues in my business model. In recent entries, Ive noticed they have been expressing my displeasure with them lately. For any of the seasoned, nonseasoned business owners, how do you handle contractor/ employee issues?

Thanks in advance..

Depends on the issue.

What issues exactly are you having?

One common mistake I see with this a lot is people don't show the contractors respect by listening to them (this doesn't mean to follow what they say, just listen). Instead while the contractor is trying to express themselves the owner/manager will often interrupt them while they are talking, which will lead to the contractor interrupting and not listening to the owner/manager.
Also owner/manager will change their mind too much about what they want done. This confuses the contractor and makes him frustrated. It's important to be direct with them and not to let their influence change your mind too much. It's good to listen to them and change your mind occasionally based on an aspect that you were not aware of, but if you change your plan or rules based on what the contractor/employee says too often then they feel like they are running the show now, and not you.

If I knew what issues you were having exactly I could be of more help.

Huh? "Subcontractor issues in my business model"? "In recent entries...they have been expressing my displeasure"? What does this all mean?
