Hello,
I live in rural Wisconsin on a farm, raise a few steers, have a full time job and am interested in getting out of the rat race. I've been thinking about buying some rental property for a while and have done some reading on the topic, both books and online, and have gotten some practice at "running the numbers" to estimate whether or not a property will cash flow. Although I don't have much experience with rentals I do lease out the crop land and also the hunting rights on my farm.
Besides reading about rental property, I have the electronic version of Robert Kiyosaki's Cashflow 101 game and have played that on my own for a while. At this point, I think it would be hugely beneficial to play Cashflow with other people to learn from them.
I'm really looking forward to participating in this great forum.
