Just thought I would share in case anyone else wants to give someone a creative birthday.
first off, I do not txt. the concept is annoying to me. If I want to tt you I will call you, if I want to communicate with you and not call you, I will email you. therefore, I carry no txt package.
found out that google voice numbers have free txting. so I decided to anonymously txt my mom happy bday and point out that she did not know who i was. I then sent her random txts throughout the day to do certain things like leave a flower on a bench, buy herself a frosty, etc. I ended it by hiding a picture of me in a toilet in their laundry and she had to search for it as the final clue/ reveal.
probably one of the most interesting birthdays she had in a long time. I even had friends of hers txting her to tell her to cooperate with me when she started resisting due to fear of taking instructions from a stranger.
