Once upon a time I read someones dev diary, and there was a section that kept a record of the things the team consumed during the creation of their game.

"Hey! That's neat, and we definitely have the geeks consumption life style!" I thought. So I brought this to my ex-partner and we began to record what we consumed while actively working on the card game.

This had gone largely forgotten, but while sorting through things I found the list and submit it for your amusement.

20 bottles (2L) pop (usually mountain dew)
10 bottles (710ml) pepsi
2 bottles (710ml) coke
37 cans of pepsi
8 cans of fresca
8 cans of sprite
32 cans of coke
6 bottles of bawls
36 cans of franks
12 cans of Dr Pepper
12 cans of Boo-Koo
3 bags of chips (280-300g)
1 large bag of beef jerky
16 pepperoni sticks
42ish pogos
12 pizza pockets
10 pizzas
16 mozza sticks
4 plastic bags (shoe repair)
2 cans of Cheeta (don’t drink it)
2 poutines
4 pot roast
1 box of ah caramels
2 bowls of spaghetti, 4 plates of spaghetti – Good stuff, we didn’t skimp out on the meat.

Back then, mountain dew had caffeine in Canada, and knowing that it wouldn't last we took advantage of it.

Since then though, I've done something about the unhealthy level of consumption of carbonated sugary beverages.

Anyway, halve those numbers and you get what was consumed per person. It seems kind of silly now, but we were proud of our geeky style of working, and it actually did a good job of making an atmosphere where we decided to work. Except the spagetti, one cannot function during, or after eating that.

I don't know the exact timeframe of those recordings, but I doubt it was even a full three months.
