Greetings folks,
I am a Ph.D. student in Business (Information Systems), might end up being an assistant professor (who knows), or might end up being an entrepreneur, or both!
I worked in diverse settings, from sales man, customer support, to quality manager. What do I do now?
well... I planned to spend a few hours per week to start my own business.
I started Gric Education and Analytics which is a YouTube channel. We are offering tutorials, courses, and training in business related topics for free. The goal is to reach a certain number of audience, and switch to for profit business model. I started this idea with the help of my wife, and later I found an enthusiastic collaborator who is now our third member in Google Communities while I was advertising to find members for my team. Apart from online business courses, I think my team will have the potential for business analytics as well, and maybe data analytics in future. I am linked with good data scientists, and I have experts to teach big data topics and data anlytics. So I have added the analytics which could be a potential avenue in the future for what we do.
I seek your knowledge and advise. Also, I welcome anyone who is interested to be part of our team. I am sure there is a lot to learn here. Even me, I had to go through many things that I did not know about in order to advance my business. Finding this forum is just an example!
Currently we are working on video series with the name of "Bridging the gap between business and Research" we try to explain cutting edge findings of research and how could businesses benefit from them. Probably I will develop and run an online course about basic business analytics, or maybe a more trendy business course.
