Flight Tips

I'm currently looking at flights from Santiago, Chile to Kahului, Maui. Then flights from Maui to Alaska.
I was wondering if anyone had any specific tips on buying the flight.
I've read a few blogs on the subject, best day to buy etc... But maybe one of you have an awesome website to share.

Do you use any air miles credit card?

Rack up expenses that you usually occur and count them towards a free flight ticket

The USA is the cheapest country to fly in, due to all the airmiles and other points that you get when using credit cards.
So build up your points and use that.

Outside of the USA I usually get my flights from cheaptickets.nl or comparable sites.
