Chat GPT 3rd birthday (since it went viral) is coming up so i wanted to share a big lesson learned using it for coding software.
My primary use case is building software.
Everybody talks about how their mileage varies with the AI. AI slop is a thing but also I find it can be a skill issue.
Human nature is to not admit you have a skill issue and to blame something else.
I wanted to create a place here to exchange ideas on building with these coding agents.
Here is something that has helped me code like an army of engineers:

Code:
Analyze the phased implementation tasks and sub-tasks and create a comprehensive dependency graph with accompanying parallelization matrix. Analyze options for execution paths which include checkpoints with accompanied success criteria. After completing your analysis, please provide your recommended path forward along with a justification and please do so with a bias towards maximum safe parallelization.
Each phase must have a list of tasks and sub tasks
Ensure each task is run in at least one sub agent
Each phase must have a validator agent that checks if all the tasks were completed with 95% accuracy and if so the phase is complete otherwise the task must be run again by another separate agent and then checked by the validator.
