Criticism needed for Luxury RE Web site

I have been trying to learn as much as I can on RE for two reasons.

1. Help my friend sell her multi-million dollar house
2. To look for a new luxury house for myself

I also want to create something that can smooth the buying/selling/marketing process with a new web site for ONLY USA luxury homes/properties with value of US$1M and above. This site could also be extended to Luxury cars, that many of you are currently driving.

Here is what I have in mind. Please give me your criticism and feedbacks. Thanks!


This site will contain pretty much all the major features (map, compare, showroom, dedicated page, video tour, etc) that other sites have and plus more.

1. It's like dating site. You list your seller and buyer profile, it will match your profile and sent the notification to both parties.
2. The registration are private and free. Address are not disclosure unless you log in to the system. Member profile are protected.
3. The system will flag the house out-dated, if it has not been updated for a month. This is to keep the house information current. The house will still be listed, however, the seller will have to login and remove the flag.
4. More information about the properties. Builder, Interior designer, HOA, etc.
5. Instead of using Zip Code or price to locate the properties and buyers, it will also be based on the floor plan and style of the properties or personal preference.
6. Rating system to rate properties, seller, agent and buyers profile.
7. Multi-lingual. All the description of the house will be translated into Chinese, Spanish or other languages to attract the foreign buyers (fee may apply)
8. Featured home builders and interior designers that are associated to the houses.
9. Celebrity properties - an area of private club for celebrity to buy and sell their properties to other celebrities.
10. Realtime notification (email, SMS, Twitter, etc) and chat when someone is viewing the properties.

I want to make this site simple and straight forward.
