I know one successful entrepreneur who credits much of his creativity in business, relationships, and other facets of life to reading fiction. Many people believe that through reading non-fiction "fact-based" books, they are improving their ability to understand certain concepts and learning new skills. I understand this goes against the grain for some. This guy's belief is that by reading fiction, it will increase creativity ,thereby improving quality life and success overall.
I was wondering what others here think of reading fiction as a tool in building one's creativity.
