Business 1:
About a week ago, I had the idea to start a local/worldwide online consulting/painting business. That idea was to have someone send a picture of the desired room (or me visit in person), and then have me suggest a painting setup, as well as make the actual paintings for them. That way it's both color matched and cohesive AND they don't have to go out and look for the perfect painting. I would also show them thumbnail mock-ups of different options for them to review first.
This business serves as a source of income to fund "bigger business" later on, and who knows, maybe this one will go somewhere.
DONE:
-read The Millionaire Fastlane and joined forum
-bought supplies
-done extensive research on abstract art
-practiced painting on paper and canvas
-done research on how to select paintings for rooms colorwise
-gotten feedback on idea
-have talked to my boyfriend's parents about doing this for free as a thank you
-taken pictures of their designated room
-found easy solution to represent colors correctly when taking pictures
-looked into pricing methods
-decided to use everything but UPS for delivery
-found and called local "pack and ship" facility
-decided not to offer prints for now
-almost finished dynamic painting of BMW I8 for fun/practice, will perhaps list for sale also
TO DO for near future:

-make paintings for boyfriend's parents and post picture on Etsy as "past paintings"

-keep sharpening my knowledge and skills throughout
DONE:

-made unnecessary (lol) detailed business plan to serve as proof and personal organization
-listened to people's clothing complaints, as well as realized them myself
-looked for customized clothing stores online
-looked at what they offer/how they run things
-emailed several successful clothing business owners-got 1 reply
-done general google search "how to start a clothing company"
-read success stories
-attempted to learn how to make advanced animated websites
-found out it's recommended to hire a pro; found reputable advanced website designers
TO DO:
-read more success stories and do more research
-decide if I should start simple or go all out; find out just how simplified this can be made
-look on social media for mentions of custom clothing
-find out how Nordstrom can offer both free to and from shipping as well as free consulting
-find out how stores keep prices low and quality high
-research best quality clothing materials
-figure out if I can still use college, but for a different purpose, ASAP
