So I've been trying to find an EMR/PM software to use in my Electronic Doctor's Office business I am working on. I've applied for a third party vendor license and as I was looking for more software I noticed that one of the top EMR/PM software companies offices were in Austin. E-MDs. (That is where I live) I am wondering how that will affect my potential market? Would their be anyway to utilize them or should I apply for a license with another company and aim to be in competition with them while offering the community another option?
One of my plans was to offer personalized training without having to fly out or what not, but since there headquarters are only a few miles away thats not really a problem.
I still plan to offer scanning and FULL set up(I think this is a big plus and I still hold a competetive advantage here. I am doubting that they actually send someone in to set up the software.)
Any thoughts? Opinions?
