Ecigs are just an example. But if I wanted to create an electronic cigarette and also the eliquid, since I have absolutely no idea how I would get the eliquid made, how would I go about getting it?

I also know nobody that would be able to make them. I know of course the cigarette would be easier to make, but still relatively difficult, and also, what about legal issues, would it cost a fortune to actually get permission to sell such a thing and so on.

I mean I am pretty sure it's not all about looking for 5 people that each have the specialist skills to create each feature and, grouping these people together and then make prototypes. That is what I thought all along to be honest, which would probably take a lifetime only to test one particular business idea. But now I'm getting the idea that you would actually find a manufacturing plant, tell them what you want made, and then they'll create it for you. But of course I'm sure there are dangers here (idea may be stolen and whatever) I know of course, at least I think, that the liquid would be much more complicated, especially since it goes into a persons body, it's not exactly the best thing for trial and error.

I think you get the picture anyways.

It would be really great especially if you could recommend a book based on the this.

Thanks.

No book is going to teach you how to go from A to Z in a nice little package.

If you want something to read - read as many threads on this forum as possible. If you plan to stick around and add value to this community I would recommend an INSIDERS subscription. Despite there being threads on the inside that might help you a bit, the real value would come from talking about your action - what you are doing, how, and any questions you have that you get stuck with. Then members can jump in and lend a helping hand as needed. But nobody is going to help you if you aren't trying to help yourself.

As for what you are trying to do - it's possible. Probably not even all that difficult. There are manufacturers who deal with e-cigs and the liquids that go with them. You can likely private label your own brand - this would be easiest. You can also sink tons of money into your own design and formulas if you have the cash and desire.

The issue is it sounds like you haven't gotten off google and reached out into the world yet. Make some calls, send some emails, start hunting. Want to know the legalities? Call a lawyer for a quick consult on the issue. Want to find manufacturers? Google around, send some emails, make some calls and you'll quickly find people to point you in the right direction.

Hell, a co-worker I used to know was bragging to everyone that he saved TONS of money by buying some e-cig liquid from a supplier on alibaba or some place like that. He could have EASILY turned around and said "I love your products, do you do private labeling of these? Know someone who does?"

Thanks Jajt, yes I defo am planning to stick around here, there is loads of great stuff. I haven't browsed this particular part of the forum very much yet. I only done a few searches. But other parts have provided an enormous amount of stuff. And yes I am always reading and so on, and didn't really go out into the real world yet, but I'm starting to make contacts, asking better questions and so on. I am defo still in the theory stage though, I know how that sounds, but I'm almost there.

Great info there anyway, thanks.

On second thoughts, I think I'm going to finally do the A word. Yes that's right ACTION. I was thinking earlier, if only I knew more, if I had read all the books I intend to read and so on, if this change was happening in three years time, THEN I would exploit this change. But it's me that needs to change. I will defo be asking a few questions on the INSIDERS forum soon. I know there are difficulties with this type of business. But there are difficulties with every single business on earth. The excuses are abundant in supply. I'm going for this.

Ohhhhh @TomTrepreneur read my post here. Don't you dare do any R&D on ANYTHING until you've made cash-flow on selling or repurposing a product that already exists. I'm speaking from experience and I'm validating it across millionaire status entrepreneurs. Find something that exists, bring it to a new market, and generate cash-flow. I currently have a wireless sensor network company, with my own engineering team, and all kinds of cool stuff and it is painfully slow. You'll never get enough momentum to get started if you go this route first time out. Read the thread and feel free to ask any questions.

Thanks Alexander. Ha yeah I think I did get a bit over excited. I was thinking afterwards, where would I start. I imagine it would cost a fair bit, and plus, there are stalls and shops already set up in of near the main shopping centres nearby, not to mention the fact that Thebestshop.eu does next day delivery on top quality Ecigs. One thing that I was thinking was vending machines, Ecigs are meant to dominate them this year forward I believe. I heard before that pubs don't actually own them, but rather entrepreneurs, but I find it hard to understand why a pub wouldn't just buy their own one. I'll be thinking about it, I won't discard the thoughts of finding some opportunity, but I see what you mean. Heading over there now.

Cheers

Oh I think I got the wrong idea there. It's about creating something ha, but my thoughts on the Ecigs still remain, I wouldn't want to get too exited just yet.
