Buying properties and renting out appartments

Just thought I'd share this new road of my journey. I am a student, and I work a lot both on getting good grades and on my other project - though I figured I would eventually be in need of an income. So after some brainstorming, doing some research and persuading my dad to get on with the project (it is impossible to get a loan as a student), I was able to get a loan to buy a house. So now I own an apartment, renting out to 9 students - whereas they are paying the loan and I live here for free. It is a great project, though there is some risk (if you don't get people to move in and pay for it, you lose a lot of money). The income on short notice is not great, but in time the loan pays down and I should have approximately one million usd (in about 15 years) and the work is minimal.

As I work on my other project, and go to school it is a lot for one man to do - though I'm pretty exited. Also just buying apartments and renting out can be somewhat fastlane too, and I will dig some deeper into it as I see it is profitable.
