Hi all,
I have read so many post here of others asking "what do I do, where do I start?" I have asked this question my self so I know that it is a common thought. Even as I am working hard to put my own business together with all the research that I have done I still find that there is a sense of shall we say "hesitation". This bothered me because I am a control freak and I hate the idea of feeling less than confident but non the less there is a unmistakable doubt looming. I came to the conclusion that it would be to my benefit to find a mentor. I must say that at 33 years old I felt some what juvenile to even consider this but after setting my pride aside I weighed the pro's and cons to find only pro's.
Everyone knows that if you want to be successful you should surround yourself with successful people (or at least people headed in a positive direction) after doing some googling I have found there are many outlets for those seeking entrepreneurial and business mentors. I am planning to reach out and see what contact I can make. I will definitely post updates here if anyone is interested. I'm sure many of you would obviously agree to the idea I mean, isn't that what brought us all here? If any one has tried this specifically, not just networking in the forums (not that that amounts to an less of a motivation) but actually reaching out to a specific source for mentoring please post your experience here. Also, I found an informative article about this. the link below is to the first in a series.
