I officially closed my business back in May, but did not file any paperwork, I did a little research and saw that if I don't file a certain form(that has a $110 fee) that the business could end up in "involuntary dissolution".
The question is: Will this affect my business credit if the business is involuntarily dissolved?
And also is it possible to rename the corporate entity and use the current S-corp to register domains and for other business related matter?
I ask this b/c the name of the business was particular to the industry and I have since decided to go in another direction(either REI or e-biz) with my future endeavors and would be better off with a "generic" S-corp such as "ABC Corp" or "My Name Corp", etc until I decide which field I want to work with.
