I'm homeless. I'm starting my first year of college in September. If I get an apartment I'll have to work over 20 hrs a week just to pay bills... I'm currently working 2 jobs totaling to 65 hour work weeks during my summer.

This is the sidewalk.... I need to get out but I have nobody to rely on. I know some of you have been through worse. Any advice?

Homeless at your age?
Don't you have family that helps you with "basic living expenses" at your age?

Are you from the Usa by the way?

Most importantly, what kind of advice are you looking for?
Try to be more specific about your situation and what you're looking for. This way people can help you with more accurate advice.

Lastly, you seem pretty desperate. Relax. You're so young.
You have plenty of life and time ahead of you that you probably don't realize.

And welcome to the forum!

I'm from Canada. My family is no better off than I am.
I need to start making income outside of part time jobs. I can't think of anything I could offer people that wouldn't take up too much of my time for the profit.
I was thinking of making a website and selling leads. Maybe I could do some ghost writing since I have experience. I can't finalize anything however. I have 0 leads and no one who wants to have things written.

I'm so confused.

What does "homeless" mean?
Are you on the street with a phone or are you living with friends for free?
Where's your family?
How can you afford to go to college?
Why are you worried about 20 hours of work per week if you already work 65 hours?
Where's the money from the 65 hours going right now?
How are you paying for college?
Have you tried getting better, more stable, better paying jobs?
Are you taking advantage of any of Canada's various social assistance programs?
Can you take out a student loan to cover college and living expenses?

Unless you are really, really confident and a natural born entrepreneur, starting a business sounds like the last thing you should be trying to do in your situation. That's like trying to build a boat while drowning.

There's multiple ways to tackle your problems here but you've given almost no information to work from.

Sounds like above all else you need to get a place to live and a job that can pay for it. Once you are stable, you can think bigger and make smart changes. Go from drowning to floating, then figure out the best way to swim.

How are you homeless but starting university in a few weeks?

You are working two jobs at the moment but to have enough to have a place to stay you need to work one more?

What are you doing with those current wages you are making?

You are either leaving out a huge part of your story or you’re trolling.

Go take a proper job first and stop being homeless. You aren’t going to launch a business from a park bench.

Get a normal job, go to work, get your life in order, and save some money.

This is like asking for fitness advice while you are in hospital. Get on your feet first before you starting trying to run.

My college fees are being taken care of by the generous taxpayers thanks to the government.
I'm bouncing from house to house of my friends until I can get an apartment which is what the money I'm making right now is going towards.
