For me visualization started at the basic level with skateboarding. I was obsessed with jumping down stairs and grinding rails and would always see myself doing the trick before attempting it.
My short lived career in skateboarding is over, but I do use visualization everyday in my business, life and with weight training.
What is visualization?
For me it's envisioning myself complete the task or achieve your goal in vivid detail. I use it in both the short-term with immediate wins and long term for my ultimate goals.
Even when I sit down for a work session, I think about what I'm going to do and how it's going to be accomplished.
Visualization works... it's science.
In a way when you visualize success, it's like tricking your mind into thinking you've already done it and the challenge is diminished.
