Are you doing your own Amazon copy??

Question for those of you selling products on Amazon, do you do your own copy or are you outsourcing to a service/freelancer i.e. fiverr. I have a product that I will be putting on Amazon and I want it done professionally and nice. I could take the time to learn or I could pay a professional. What are you guys doing?

I did my own copy. Fiverr is cheap. Why not do both? Pick the best one.

For the copy on my listing. I found a listing that was very successful in its category, had copy that made me want to buy and followed their model.

I write my own copy and I then tweak it about 10 times over the course of about 30 days to achieve the highest conversion rate possible.

I recommend spending some time studying your competition and taking the best elements from each listing, putting them in your own words and then work on improving the copy using power words.

Ok I will be the contrarian...

I want it done professionally and nice. I could take the time to learn or I could pay a professional.

If you want professional copywriting that converts and don't know copywriting currently then you should probably hire someone. How long will it take you to learn it? How much will it cost to hire? How much is your time worth? Pay someone to do it for you...

The "passion" thing is complete garbage just because you're passionate doesn't mean you can write.
