Anyone into NLP?

Could anyone recommend some good starting points for learning NLP? (A business/entrepreneurship point of view would be a plus, but any good beginners information would be great).

That's a course i took. Very very insightful.


The course above deals with NLP copywriting, which is a little different than regular NLP. It's geared towards building a sales message using nlp principles. Which is i believe what you're really looking for anyway. NLP is pretty interesting and has some merits.

studied NLP and Hypnosis for over 10 yrs.

its a fundamental reason for some of the massive successes I have had.
I would say, look up a local practioner, and take a class. reading about it. is kinda like reading about sex.
you get the theory, but, Doing it makes more sense.

If there isn't one locally for me, what do you think about doing Tony Robbins' exercises related to NLP?

That's how I was introduced to NLP, specially through Tony Robbins' course: Personal Power II

I said it in jest because I'm skeptical.
Most jibberish floating around is based on uncontrolled anecdotal "evidence"
I have a scientific mind and although there have been social experiments conducted on NLP,
there's not nearly enough material there for me to take it seriously.

I look at it the same way I look at ghosts:
Maybe they exist, but most 'evidence' is based on personal experiences
and easy to attribute to other outside factors.

That being said, I'm not here to bring down the group
or question your beliefs.
Just attempting to take a playful jab in passing.
