Hello everyone,

I'm currently developing a mobile app which I believe will have a lot of success on IOS, android, PC and home console. Although like all products, no one will buy if no one knows it exists. Which is why I need some awesome suggestions in regards to reading material on the subject of Advertising and marketing for mobile applications.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I suggest you to list your app on various app stores like ios app store and Google play store. Also submit it to different app stores and review writing websites. It will increase app downloads. Also app store optimization is important to increase app downloads from app stores. If you don't know app store optimization check this [link removed by mod]

App store optimization is huge, a lot of downloads just come from people searching the store. The other big way is obvious, word of mouth. Any major app guy I have talked to said this was huge for them, just like any other business. Paid advertising is hard, it costs a lot of money to do. From what I have heard, the big companies do this to get enough downloads to get to the top of the charts and then the organic downloads help boost is.
