Just wanted to make a quick introduction, never done one when I joined.
I've been on this forum lurking for a year or two now, never taken much action at all if I'm honest - just reading, consuming information, until I had a realization that this year I'm 25 and... I'm not where I want to be, simple as.
I currently freelance on a few freelancing sites offering proofreading and editing, earning £20 - £100 a day, sometimes more, and I've been doing this for the past few years. At the moment I've got a small amount in savings, and very, very little outgoings.
I spend most of the day by myself in my flat's office alone and online, living with my long-term partner, and aside from volunteering a few hours a week I don't have any friends, contacts, or associates, so really hoping to surround myself with other like-minded people on this forum.
I feel a fool for wasting much of my day consuming information that never comes in handy anyway (like 1% might come in handy, and that's mostly from here). We also sell books and second hand collectible items on eBay and Amazon, but we've got possibly £1000's worth of stock currently unlisted due to, well, laziness I guess.
Anyway, enough rambling. I plan to get actively involved in the community, and thanks to the forum know what I'm going to put my time into, as I have quite a bit of time in my day if I focus and get my freelancing work done - ecommerce, importing etc. (it seems like a natural progression and I already have quite a bit of experience with Amazon and eBay, writing fiction, and possibly looking to take my freelancing into a full-fledged service business, if there's a need.
Thanks for reading - looking forward to meeting people!
