Is THIS the reason why young entrepreneurs are destined to fail? The problem I'm having with Fastlane...

    QUESTION
Let me challenge some of your assumptions. Your Google search was "Average age of a successful startup founder." - Who says you have to wait to be successful at the "average" age? - What defines "successful"? You're working with the hypothesis that "domain expertise" is the ticket. It's good...

Bitcoin / Cryptocurrency Discussion (And Predictions)

    HOT! CRYPTO CHAT
I'm not super up on these things, so can you explain it to me like I'm 5 to help me understand? Is this legislation targeting devices like a Ledger where people have their crypto in "cold storage"? What exactly are they voting on doing?

Is there a way to get some business out of this?

    IDEA
So it sounds like you have the following in place: - A high-quality product that has a value skew (it's better than existing options out there) - A hungry market of potential buyers - A wide-open avenue where no one else is offering anything (Udemy) Now, let's correlate that against the...

    INTRO
Welcome to the forum, Tahjia! As a fellow introvert I can relate. Sorry to hear you are on the verge of collapse. Want to share more about what is burning you out or what plans you are considering for how to break out of the situation? What kind of genres have you written?

    Anchorage vs Reno

    OFF-TOPIC
In a grid-down scenario, people in Reno will die from lack of water. People in Anchorage will die from cold. Pick which "worst-case" scenario you'd prefer to deal with, if it came to that. In a remote work, self-employment situation, good internet is probably going to be localized to fewer...

Ways to make money for chronically tired or exhausted people

    SIDE HUSTLE
If you can read medical papers, one avenue you could pursue is doing research for copywriters in the health supplements niche. There's always a need for doing research into the studies that support whatever mechanism or angle the supplement is taking. Some copywriters do this research...

Ways to make money for chronically tired or exhausted people

    SIDE HUSTLE
I was in a similar position for about 4 years. Doctors didn't offer me any help, either. So I've done a lot of thinking about it. Do you have the basics covered? A roof over your head, food to eat, etc.? Or does this need to start making money for you now? Assuming that you have the basics...

Quotodoro: How to be more productive and reach your goals. For entrepreneurs and freelancers.

    SAAS / APPS MARKETPLACE
Looks like I got in. Thanks for your help! I'm eager to try it out because Pomodoros have worked well for me in the past. Also, I'm curious to know if this tool offers me any upgrades to the productivity methods I have developed for myself (described in this thread): HOT! - MINDSET - How I...

Quotodoro: How to be more productive and reach your goals. For entrepreneurs and freelancers.

    SAAS / APPS MARKETPLACE
Sounds pretty cool. Need help though... I opened an account, but it just gives me a blank screen. I tried hitting refresh, but it just made me log in again with my username and password, and when I did that, I got back to the same blank screen. I am using Google Chrome on a Windows 7 laptop.

My mom almost died this week, please send some love so she recovers faster

    OFF-TOPIC RANT
I am sorry about what is happening to you and your family. Are you able to block all access to P? This seems urgent. If P is still communicating with your mother, things could end up even worse. Since they communicated without you knowing before, is there a chance they might still be in...

Can this thread save your life, and perhaps countless others? Yes.

    GOLD! HOT! MINDSET
Just thinking aloud here... but if the title conveys, "This is a book about stupid decisions people made," the problem with that is that people are going to be expecting something entertaining along the lines of the Darwin Awards, and if it's not over-the-top ridiculous / inconceivable /...

When you typed this, you initiated "language change" mode in your autocorrect AI. It switched you from "Modern Standard English Recommendations" to "Let's see how illiterate this person is and what misspellings we can get them to fall for"

Secure Crypto Currency Wallet Creation Business.

    IDEA CRYPTO
Yeah the biggest objection I would have to this kind of service is the need to trust you. Not only that you weren't holding on to my private keys, but also...you'd know where my house is! One guy having the addresses of a bunch of people who hold crypto... That factor alone would give me the...

    IDEA
Awesome, great job! Couple of feedback points... 1. This sentence: "I believe this to be tedious enough, that I’m in the process of building RepoJoy, to solve this problem for myself and hopefully one day, for you as well." - "Hopefully one day"???? What about today? By phrasing it this way...

    IDEA
I am a copywriter, not a developer, but I've dipped my toe into coding just enough to know that keeping code organized is tedious and also necessary. So you're definitely starting with a problem. From a copywriting perspective, will your page sell your product? Here are a couple of ways you...

What's your motivation to do things if you don't need to make money.

    NOTABLE! HOT! MINDSET
I resonate with the sense of meaninglessness that biophase and MTF have shared on this thread and elsewhere. I used to be filled with hopeful optimism, ambition, drive, and deep enjoyment in the pursuit of my goals. Now, it has all been replaced overall with a feeling of, "Why bother?" This has...

Sidewalker trying to be financially literate

    INTRO
I think it's pretty clear that was a traumatic experience for you. No one should downplay it. I'm sorry that happened. I recommend you read this post for inspiration of how you could identify a need and take a different path. Because of your medical background, you have a unique perspective on...

    MINDSET EXECUTION QUESTION
Jackson Hole is an outlier, though. If you go to Cheyenne, you're within two hours of the Denver International Airport, weather is almost as good as it is in Fort Collins, CO, and that kind of money will snag you something like this!
