Is Trade School for HVAC / LSS Job Worth It?

Hello,

I was wondering if it is worth pursuing a job in Life Support Systems and Maintenance Operations by going to trade school.

For context, I currently work as a groundskeeper at an aquarium, but the manager of the maintenance department is encouraging me to try applying to trade school in order to work under their department for a job in maintenance and life support systems. I think it is a good opportunity, especially since I would be learning valuable skills which could help me with future entrepreneurial efforts, and I already have pretty good standing with the workplace.

Is this a good idea or is this going deeper into the slowlane strategy?
