I'm a retired US Navy officer who knew another government job was a none starter. My first business book was Rich Dad, Poor Dad so I wasn't afraid to get into business - I just had no idea what I was doing. I've since read Think and Grow Rich, Laws of Success, and a dozen other self helps. I'm not afraid to learn - spent 2 years of weekends getting my MBA while working full time. I've tried and failed a couple times with my own start ups, always reverting back to the slow lane get a good job thing. When I almost lost my wife to cancer I asked myself, "why am I still driving an hour and half to work, putting in 10 hour days and driving back." I'm better than this and damn it, my wife deserves better. I made her a promise we'd be millionaires. It's about time I deliver. Fortunately, I came across MJ's books and now believe there's a road I didn't know about. I've a lot to learn and do, and looking forward to it all.
