I figured out my thing in school. That's right, not all school is a useless waste of time. Now I make 150k per year at 27 and that will roughly double within a few years, while still allowing me to save $, learn, and prep for going fastlane. No debt.
More specific to you, most people go out and get experience in something before starting a business. They work jobs so that they learn, which then allows them to have a niche of expertise. Just because the fast lane is the goal doesn't mean jobs are to be avoided at all costs in the beginning. They help you discover needs, while paying the bills in the meantime.
Without experience in something, through work or education (self or from a school), you're not going to be adding value to anyone. So as a 19 year old I'd focus on learning instead of spending time on farmville for minimum wage.
So, a thing every newbie should know: every fastlaner has worked normal jobs, which they took as a learning opportunity.
