Has anyone used Metaugus for contract manufacturing? (Supplements)

Looking for more information on this company. Seems like its been around since 1988 but I get an iffy feeling from them.

Has anyone used this manufacturer before? Experiences?

Well, they did take about a week to get back on the quote. And compared to the other quote I received, they are MUCH cheaper. The research I've done on the first company shows that their prices tend to be higher than average though.

The thing is I can find reviews on forums/etc for the first company. But this one I can't find anything. The business license has been registered since 1988 however. I was hoping someone used them and could give me an overview of their experience.

There's not a lot of results on google regarding them.

Also the DNS info shows this. Seems to be registered for a person not a company name. Also the address is her personal house.

Right, I did all that good stuff - also they're e-mailing me from a gmail account - really sketch.

I guess I'll go with the more reputable company, even though its about 100% more expensive.

Why is that sketchy? Gmail is free, good and reliable. I understand you want to see a alxuxux@apple.com, but on the other hand, it might just be a starting company just like yourself Maybe you can build an awesome relationship with them.

Just saying. IDK. Don't take my words for advice. I am just thinking along here.

Why is that sketchy?

That's a red flag, sorry. When conducting official business, one should always use their website accounts. I do it through my official websites (Viperion Publishing or The Fastlane Forum.) Of course, this isn't saying that they're a scam ... however, if you don't like their pre-sales service, how do you think their post sales service will be?

It's like marriage -- if you date someone for 3 years and the relationship is rocky, do you think getting married will make the relationship any better? Or worse?

They have a domain, they have hosting, so they should have a email account with that domain. No excuses on that one.

The price seems so good I want to convince myself that they're a real company. I was thinking maybe they're just an old company who just got online and doesn't really know much about it...

But then there's another red flag - the employee I'm talking to is calling me from a different state then their HQ.

Maybe I'll ask to visit their facility.
