They disagree with it. Marketing has many theories, and the more scientific (read: provable) ones are not at all inspiring.

I agree it's good to have a "why" in your company, but this doesn't help marketers who have no say in the company's real purpose.

I really love this video. The concept seems so simple but putting it into practice is surprisingly hard. At least for me it is.

Great video! If the content of the speech itself wasn't enough for me, when he mentioned biology and the cortexes of the brain I for better or for worse being a recovering addict is all too familiar with those and it made total sense to me about the deep feelings being harbored in the limbic system and not in our "rational" neo-cortex. And then there is the *value* to the individual person proposition the guy preaches which corresponds to what MJ talked about in his book. Awesome find Entourage!
