I've been at the Marriott working on my presentation outside (near the bar) since noon, enjoying the weather.

I'm wearing a paisley blue shirt, drinking a beer colored drink...sitting under an umbrella.

If anyone else is here, stop by and say hi...I'll buy the first beer.

Most likely won't make The Yardhouse, tonight. I'm late leaving Los Angeles because we had a huge plumbing problem that needed my attention. Can you keep us updated on any post-Yardhouse activities? Bummed I'm going to miss everyone, this evening.

So to those who don't know - Arizona doesn't observe DST - and for all of you who might have your own watches still set to your local timezone, presentations are still set today for 9am LOCAL AZ TIME. (and it's now 05:50am as I'm typing this...my phone clock somehow reset itself to an hour off and I woke up an hour early, lol)

Oddly, my phone did the same, bobbys didn't take dst here, but mine did. Must be a cell network issue.

That may be good for next year - have someone tasked with taking pictures. I'll put "Bring my camera" on my Fastlane Summit 2016 to-do list right now. I was so busy talking I didn't even think about taking a lot of pictures, but I would have loved to have had more.

Ive been at work now for the past 6hrs and this is exactly whats on my mind. I cant even think about this 8-5. The only thing that keeps replaying is how much of a colossal waste of time this is.

Im formulating a way I can leave this job so I can build something real while not falling behind on my bills. I want to be out by June

Absolutely, In reality we aren't far from each other. I am in Dillsburg /Harrisburg area frequently throughout the year, so we can connect sometime before 12 months from now.

I would love to connect. I have a slowlane day job currently, but a fair amount of flexibility on when I come and go. Just need to know in advance, but could easily take a day or two and head east.

I noticed my productivity has gone down a bit, so I got out of my home office and joined a coworking space and so far my productivity has increased dramatically.

Happy hour on Fridays doesn't hurt either and they're open 24/7 for members.

Definitely recommend it if you're experiencing the same problem

I like the idea of getting out of your home and going somewhere, especially if you have distractions at home. An office environment in this example to grind some work out is great.

The only thing I don't like is the open space with 10 people next to me and around me...I understand that's the point of it and all. Personally, I get distracted easily and that environment wouldn't work for me MOST of the time. I would prefer something more quiet and peaceful like a personal enclosed office. I would get a lot more work done.

I wouldn't mind checking one of these places out in Toronto. It all depends on the environment and it's surroundings. If the people there are serious and hard working, then I don't mind the open space. If everyone's chatting and screwing around, that would piss me off. The place fastlanepurorer posted looks pretty damn cool.

Good idea, funny I use it every day and never even thought to try that. I think it's worth a shot, but since it's graphic intense programs like 3D studio max/mud box I'm not sure how well it would handle going through the internet as far as lag time to what I'm doing. Sometimes I need precise measurements and I can foresee it frustrating me waiting, then adjusting/waiting, but it's def. worth trying to see how it goes. It all depends on how well the connection is between home and there.

I might think about this more as for creatives the working space has to be a bit different - you need to remain undisturbed when getting into the flow. And you also don't want to get too many people running in your peripheral. Who's in for work space w curtains 1.0? ;P
