I'm kicking myself for not going because I could have made the trip. I had the money. Yes, it was money that had to be paid, but I could have made the money back. I let my risk aversion and fear get the best of me and I missed out on what would have been one of the best experiences of my life.

Now I'm out $215 for the ticket, and I'm unsure who the money went to (and for what purpose). I'm also unsure if I could use that money toward next year's ticket. Either way, the money's not that big of a deal.

Just wanted to remind you that if you are ever in my position (you have money that you owe, and you're unsure if you can make the trip), just go. No matter who will criticize you for going, no matter what kind of crap you might get, that will not ruin anything you would get out of going.

I learned something by not going, but I would have learned so much more.

See you guys next year.

You should attend next year. You could have gotten your money back in spades. I did.

There better be a next year. There's no other conference like B+P: most conferences that are set up like it are invite-only OR they cost WAY MORE than the $200.

Hindsight is 20/20. Considering that my project won't take long to hit the $1000/week mark, I'd say I made a mistake by not going.

$1,000/week? What are your sales now?

Zero. I started it last week. By 'wont take long', I'm giving it two months before $1k/mo and four months before $1k/week. That's IF my viral tactics don't work (I've been playing around with viral marketing: got my friend's page to 850,000 views in 12 hours). If they work, well, we'll be seeing a nice cashflow.

I got $200 worth of food and drinks. Seriously. All the information I got was for free.

I had $100 worth of Kyle's cigars alone.

There's no such thing as shoulda, woulda, or coulda. If you shoulda and coulda then you woulda--Pat Riley

Hopefully it will be a lesson learned...

I just shaved off a couple of years learning curve in 3 AWESOME days for $200 and an airline ticket.

Need I say more???

A mind blowing weekend. So much more than the presentations which were incredible. It was connecting with an incredibly diverse group of achievers and action takers with the same philosophy. I feel like I found my tribe (as someone else mentioned). Nearly every waking minute we were networking, talking, sharing and brainstorming. Russ shared some notes of the presentations but so much gold was uncovered outside of those presentations. Truely priceless.

Also, where else would you be able to hang out with Jay Leno and Russell Brand for a weekend?

Just an fyi, if you called the airline even one hour before your flight was supposed to leave, they would've issued you a credit for 1 year and your trip for next year would've already been paid for.

I can almost guarantee you that it will not come anywhere close to happening like this.

I have a hunch that some of the things I learned at B&P will double my monthly sales volume.

Of course not. Its just for the people that wonder about the ROI. It was a priceless gathering among likeminded people. I have never experienced anything like this before.

It's difficult for me to put words to page as I'm nearly speechless as I reflect on what this past weekend has meant to me.

This past weekend, I attended my first ever B&P. I didn't know what to expect, but I know now that it was one of the best decisions that I've ever made and it has changed my life. The experiences and education that I acquired was literally priceless, and yet I paid next to nothing for it.

To top it off, that's not even the best part.

Unbeknownst to me before this weekend, there exists a group of very special people from all walks of life, from all around the world, that share a common thread. These people strive to make each other better, stronger, and more successful. These people understand you in a way that most other people cannot. At no other time have I shared the room with such considerate, motivational and inspirational people -- all of them.

I have already started making changes in my life based on what I have learned and words cannot express how thankful I am to everyone that attended and made this possible.

Follow your tribe, not the herd.

You think THAT changed your life... wait until we get out to Canterbury Park this summer and I show you how to turn $2 into $40. Bring your camera. See you soon.

As I sit in the PHX airport on my way back to my hometown, here are my reflections on my first ever Beer and Pancakes.

A (new friend) from the forum commented on how interesting it was that there was no division of people. Successful millionaires mixing with aspiring college students. Several year attenders broke off separately with newbies. Stock traders discussing strategies with eCommerce mavens. If you have ever seen the 80's movie "The Breakfast Club" that's what it was like. An eclectic mix of personalities, heritage, and success... all together for a single purpose.

What purpose? Camaraderie. Common vision. Unique way of looking at the world. Self betterment. Teaching. Learning. Living.

For some, it's a once in a lifetime trip. For others, today starts a 362 day countdown to the start of next years gathering.

My rolodex was fattened by contacts. Some of them are high achieving business moguls in their respective fields. Some are action takers on the cusp of their first big deal. All of you were worthwhile meeting. Thanks for your time, your stories, and your passion.

“You are the same today that you are going to be in five years from now except for two things: the people with whom you associate and the books you read.†- Charles Jones

And in the now famous words of DavidofMN : "Don't SUCK."

I was disappointing all weekend with the fact that I missed this. I need to make sure I make it next year.

I had a blast.

Things were great. Everything. And thankfully many pics will never see the light, otherwise....

I learned a lot, like every time I come to one of this.

I can't wait for the next one, the count down has started...

Let's see how many of those that say "I will make it next year" actually make it.

This event really is life changing. So far, I've been more productive than I had in the last week combined.

Everyone had something of value to give & you learn so much even if it's not related to business. Also getting to meet people who share the same entrepreneurial mindset as you really is something special. Hopefully, my presentation next year will be on how B&P helped make me successful.

Don't just talk about it, do it.

By the way, I think I gained like 5 lbs while I was there. Too much delicious food!

Vets - thanks so much for making us new guys feel at home. This was the first time I ever stepped out of my comfort zone enough to actually fly across the continent to meet people I only previously "knew" online. And to me, that was the real value of this whole thing to me - new relationships, friendships, and putting a warm face and many fun conversations between like-minded people. All the while batting around business ideas, plans, knowledge, insight and brainstorming to crack those hard nuts many of us had.

Special thanks to Mike and Danielle for opening their home to us - you guys treated us like old friends over for a beer and not a stampede of strangers invading your home. I couldn't have asked for a more welcoming first time.

Did this event pay for itself? If I met a single friend there it would have paid for itself. I met dozens.

And who thought I'd meet such celebrities as the Shark Tank crew and an NPR reporter? :p
