Haha I met a German girl at that hostel and pub crawl that became my girlfriend for a few years. Generator was far better than the other hostels we walked past or visited for a beer.

So I had a dispute opened against my store in Stripe. The customer claims "fraud." It wasn't him who made the purchase... Right...

I dispute this claim of fraud through Stripe with:

1. The customer's self-submitted photo of him holding up his valid Driver's License.
2. The customer's receipt
3. Other paper trail documents and time stamps showing the customer's transaction history

In addition, I did research because the transaction location did not match the customer's Driver's License.

By checking court records, I found out the customer had been charged with murder in one part of the country.

Then I discovered he'd been recently arrested on fraud charges in another part of the country (the location where the transaction through my website took place which is also the location of his bank).

Not only was he arrested in the new location, but the Sheriff's office posted his photo along with the arrest information. Surprise surprise, looks just like my customer...

I documented all of this and submitted it as evidence for why I should win this disputed case.

15 days later, the customer's bank ruled in his favor and I lost $197 plus $20 in Stripe fees.

So I hope an asteroid strikes the planet today.

Yet I’ll get scammed by dodgy companies and lose the dispute every single time

Been learning a lot about business and just self improvement a lot.

Just hung out with my friends, one wants to quit video games.

I sense potential in him, he’s just been surrounded around people who sealed there fates around video games.

So, I saw this as a opportunity to learn leadership, get the gratification of saving someone, and saving him in the process.

So I’m offering to teach him the ropes and help keep him accountable, I’ll make sure to dabble in on his progress if he agrees!

6 years ago I spent a full month in hospital and nearly died. IV fluids for the whole month and no food. Came out 110lbs or something (and in dire condition) when I was 155 prior to that.

During that time, I also ran an ecommerce store and had a customer dispute a sale worth around $200 as well.

Since PayPal only allowed you to settle disputes within 2 weeks and I was too busy trying to survive, it automatically got resolved in their favor.

Once I got out of the hospital (and was so weak I could barely turn the wheel to drive home) I saw the dispute and figured it was because of the fairly long delivery times since I was dropshipping...

But as soon as I came home, I looked at the tracking app and saw that the customer had opened the dispute on the same day that the package was delivered AND received by them. Like, immediately after.

Obviously not the same circumstances as your case, but I believe we both felt the same thing.

I had asked him if he was interested, he said yes and I told him to buy the book and he’s been ignoring me.

He turned back to video games..

I asked another friend, and he said he wants some steps on how to start a car detailing company.

I sent him videos, the resources he needs, scripts and many more.

He’s been ignoring me.

I swear to god.

I bring up money, and they’re eyes light up then I tell them they need to work and they go back to being normal.

Just joined a call to see what they were all up to, of course, I tell them how I made money and they’re all like “could I have some, could we split it?” Etc

This stuffs crazy, can’t wait to see how they are in a few months and years if we even run into eachother.
