Haven't seen a thread on this - and I know @MJ DeMarco really got fired up talking about season 1.

Undercover Billionaire is back. This time - not one contestant but three. One of them the controversial Grant Cardone.

The Concept

Three established billionaires are dropped into a city where nobody knows them with nothing but a 100$ bill. The goal is to become a millionaire within 90 days.

Contestants

· Grant Cardone, an unapologetic entrepreneur and international motivational speaker, real estate investor, sales trainer and author of best-selling publications, including The 10XRule and Be Obsessed or Be Average. The traditional concept of the American Dream -- work hard, save money and own a home -- is wrong, according to Grant. He maintains that people have everything you need, and cash is trash when it sits idle. You need to put your money and your contacts to work. There's nothing Grant won't do for an opportunity to succeed, and he believes that relentless attitude should be adopted by everyone.

· Monique Idlett-Mosley, the founder and CEO of Reign Ventures, a technology fund that empowers young entrepreneurs to create their own multimillion-dollar businesses. Monique has generated hundreds of millions for the startup companies she's collaborated with. After a childhood of adversity, Monique proved herself as a young executive on the rise at USA Today. She made her first fortune by creating an agency that partnered corporations with entertainment and sports stars. Monique went on to become the brains behind the Mosley Music Group, in partnership with her now ex-husband Tim "Timbaland" Mosley, where she was responsible for managing the successful careers of such high-profile artists as One Republic, Nelly Furtado and Chris Cornell.

· Elaine Culotti, a real estate developer, interior designer, builder, founder of House of Rock and visionary. A serial entrepreneur since the age of 14, Elaine broke into the male-dominated construction business and bulldozed her way into becoming one of the industry's biggest players. Elaine doesn't let anyone or anything stop her from achieving her goals. She has developed and built everything from luxury homes to casinos and hospitals. Elaine moves forward with intense determination, no visible fear of failure, and an uncanny ability to get her way.

I watched the first few episodes and I honestly don't know what to think. I've got in a heated argument with my wife over whether this show is staged. I'm carefully watching to basically get inspiration for my own business (even if it's fake). I like how they have to pivot their approach because of COVID.

It's unfortunate that reality shows are completely staged because it makes it impossible to know how authentic this show is. I HOPE it's real.

Even if the interactions are authentic, you get so much further in terms of rapport and trust when you have a professional camera crew following you around.

Makes you think, if you hired some people to follow you around with a camera and they told the people you talked to that you'd be in a TV show, you'd probably make some real life deals happen. Imagine if you cold called people and instead of pitching them your product/service, you had a guy pretend to be apart of a tv network and said "In a few minutes, the guy on the show is gonna call you and pitch you on his idea, will you be ready for that call and do we have permission to use your voice in our show?" You'd probably have incredible success.

To me, the strategies looked solid. I only watched the first two episodes of that season but Cardone started the same way I would've started. You ask for an opportunity, connect with a business owner, help the business owner, and strike a deal. You don't get a job. You strike a deal.

People think it's not realistic to make that much progress in that short of a time frame, and it is a little much, but it really goes to show how powerful it is to have the combination of 1. a specific goal 2. a deadline and 3. eliminating 100% of distractions and obligations to pursue that goal with dedication. You can do some pretty wild stuff with those three things.

It makes you reevaluate how you could do the same, or what similar steps to take in your own life to see some impressive growth.

OK GUYS
episode 13.

· Grant Cardone
The only guy in my opinion that made money. He went out and got several $10k per month marketing contracts. Huge revenue streams.

· Monique Idlett-Mosley,
I thought Monique is a complete scam artist.
She kept citing "TAM" total addressable market as the reason why her business is amazing..

· Elaine Culotti,
She took on the biggest physical task.
I think she went too big. But her idea was a good "pivot" for the business she helped save.
