Hi all.. I've been working for myself since 2007. I started in affiliate marketing and rode those ups and downs until it made me miserable and then switched to selling on amazon in 2013. I do self-published books through Createspace, but "no content" type of books, like coloring books, which I outsource the designs for, so not a typical amazon seller.
At this point I've gone into semi-retirement because although the money is good and passive income is great and quite frankly the whole thing was easy enough, I become a workaholic and can't seem to balance my life. So I am instead focusing on what I'd actually like to be doing which is finishing the novel I am working on. I would like to be a writer full time.
I am also trying to learn more about real estate. I am renting out my first house on airbnb and interested in buying a small apartment building or building some commercial greenhouses to rent out to the local hippies where I currently live in Asheville, NC.
