If you are just starting, I would recommend not hiring anyone. Do as much as you can yourself, and focus on profitability over anything else. Make some sales, learn about your customers, and build strong fundamentals. I see it constantly in my industry. People pitch their ideas to investors, get some money, and when they don't know what to do next, they hire, which is a huge mistake. The question you asked is the wrong one. The business will force you to hire at some point, and hopefully, it won't be too soon because dealing with employees and company culture is a whole different game.
