My name's Adam. I'm a husband, father of three, and a general contractor from California. My career has revolved around building homes, remodels and additions to single family homes.
What I do keeps my family fed, roof over our heads, all of that. But I've always aspired for more. Not for the sake of having more. But to do the things we enjoy doing more often, and having more time to do those things. Not to mention financial freedom.
I'm leaning towards real estate investment. With my background, it seems to make sense. Flipping, buy-and-hold, I'm not sure yet. But probably a combination of both. But I'm open to learning about all types of ethical business ventures.
I always tell my kids, "The best time to plant a tree was thirty years ago. And the second best time is today". I think it's time I take my own advice and start learning about better ways to create wealth and situate that wealth to work for me.
