Hello everyone,

My name is Ion and I've been reading personal development since I was 19 and now I'm 29. Everything that I've read so far in the book Unscripted is like pointing the finger to all the holes that I've discovered during all those years of personal development content. I think Uscripted is such a great antidote specifically for all the "success porn" that is out there today. I found about M.J and the book Unscripted through a YouTuber called James Jani (awesome channel) when he mentioned the book on one of his great videos.

Well, besides being interested in personal development, I'm a guy who is an immigrant in Sweden originally from Romania. Came to Sweden 5 years ago to study for a master's degree in marketing and after I was done I decided to start my life from 0 (2 months after my degree I was working as a laborer in constructions) and with 1500 euro in my bank account. A lot of hardships since then, I had to really test my courage and believe in myself but here I am. Today I'm a junior ux/ui designer at a more mature fintech start-up and I live in Stockholm.

I wanted to join the forum to both learn from others and share my experience as well as grow and develop. My goal is to become a tech entrepreneur and an investor.

I read such a great quote about personal development the other day, which I wrote at the top of my whiteboard in my room. It's from Jim Rohn, and was mentioned in the miracle morning book.

"Your level of success will rarely exceed your level of personal development because success is something you attract by the person you become."

I felt like it was a great reminder for me to take self development more serious rather than just going through the motions.

Yes that is very true, I've had periods when I've listened quite often to Jim Rohn.

Welcome to the club - I also got a hint about the books from James Janis channel - This guy really does make good videos . I guess working at a fintech start up is already quite a potential

I'm roughly four years into personal development. Any tips for the journey?

Jim Rohn for life. I could listen to that man all day every day.
