Our little town just became the center of a national news story:
Alleged Picasso thief Mark Lugo
Pretty amazing story-- guy just walks into a SF art gallery, picks the $250,000 painting off the wall, and walks out.
The gallery didn't even have any surveillance cameras!
Story is amazing-- shows the value of the community working together to solve a crime (ie, the local news asked all businesses to check their security cams, and several had the suspect w/the painting. And the cab that the suspect took also had a vid of him, etc).
