Hey everyone!

I'm currently coaching & consulting with an adult cleaning business based in Denver, Colorado.

Targeted client demographics:

  • Men 35 - 55
  • Divorced
  • $60,000+ annual income
  • Moderate disposable income
  • Shy or discrete; not interested in broadcasting his adult indulgences
  • Wants serious cleaning, cooking & organizing - but with a sensual, nurturing female touch
  • Wants the nurturing that he's not getting from his ex-wife because he's single
  • Wants to look, not necessarily touch
  • Busy life

Currently, my strategy is in several phases:

Phase I - Rejuvenate

- The site is currently on Website Tonite and the URL doesn't reflect the direction the company's going in.
- I have a new URL for the site, and the new site is being built on WordPress using Headway theme.
- Blog will be added
- New logo is in place - it's legible and simple in black and white, as well as full color (awesome)
- Revamped copy to reflect the updated "lifestyle" brand we're developing

Phase II - Marketing & PR, Online & Off

*This is where I request help*

Client's budget is limited. (Less than $500/mo for advertising and promo right now)

Due to the nature of the business, Facebook ads are out of the question.

I'm thinking of ways we can promote the business and increase service inquiries that are cost-effective.
Her budget cannot stand AdWords right now, so here are a few ideas I'm thinking of:

1. Press releases: She actually is putting together an event for breast cancer. This event will have topless servers and nude sushi. Breast cancer is a worthy cause to promote.

2. Targeted blog outreach: I'm thinking blogs in the Denver/Boulder/Ft. Collins area - but I have no idea how to hit the ground running to promote there.

3. Guest posts: This would require research on sites that fit our demographic. We'd probably reach a younger audience and the content would really have to be amazing. (That's okay; I specialize in content development and copywriting.)

4. Anything else?!

Adult marketing - especially digital adult marketing - is tough. We're not trying to market porn; this is a sensual, erotic and upscale service. The ladies really and truly do clean - they just do it ... topless or fully nude.

I'm pretty sure content marketing and press releases will help, but if there's anything I might be missing, I'd love to hear and I am all ears.

Thanks in advance

Craigslist, PUA websites, Men's forums, Men's blogs, Backpage, NewTimes, all relatively cheap.

Also, a great website is a MUST. Get rid of the WebsiteTonight BS -- the business will rely heavily on a beautiful VISUAL website.

Men are visual and this business will need it.

Thank you!

She's been using Craigslist, but I think she needs a flyer image for marketing.

Those other site ideas are awesome - I didn't even think of them.

Yes, the site is underway now. The first rolling version will be up in a few days.
I had to get analytics, etc. set up.

I'm allowed to share it for critique once it's done, right?

Men are visual and this business will need it.

They had a couple of lawn services, in my former town, where college women would mow your yard in bikinis....I suspect the reason they went out of business was because of the Wives lol.

So the single or divorced clientele is important, as indicated in her demographic.

Wants to look, not necessarily touch

Sadly, I am not your target market :smxB: :leaving:

I know a few people from Vegas that actually have hired people like this.

Should be interesting to see what you do with it.

I think there is potential for a win-win with local media. They need interesting stories - and you need publicity.

hell yeah!

I'd be willing to bet all the coins in my pocket right now that there is no way in high hell that (in picture) girl does any actual services... Similar to the Las Vegas "get girl's to your room" approach... lot's of hot images, lot's of ugly women that show up (allegedly).

What guys want with a service like this:

* Anonymity (if possible, don't want to end up on some local sting operation black book list)
* Discretion (show up in a low profile vehicle, looking like any normal cleaning service)
* Reliability (find a girl you like, being able to repeat booking)
* A Clean House (if I'm paying for it, might as well get what was ordered)

Call me naive, but my only experience with similar services was related by a good friend's perverted Uncle (he really was a piece of work)... Uncle claimed he hired a topless maid service... Best part, the maids always made him leave the apartment when they cleaned. We asked him what was the point? He said he liked the "idea" of it. I am guessing he is not the ordinary... being passive about not getting what he paid for...

My first instinct says: Front for escort/solicitation. Likely to get ID'd/stung/put on some local gov/vice watchlist
My second instinct says: Girls that show up will be nasty/ugly/not what I ordered
My third instinct says: My house won't get cleaned properly/anyhow

Satisfy the above and you'll have yourself a booming biz. But what overly attractive girl wants to clean a house of some middle-aged man and expect that nothing will happen that *she* doesn't want? You have to protect them, which adds to the potential liability/overhead/risk-reward ratio...

Sounds too risky on both sides.

Regarding Marketing:
- Less than $500/mo will require TONS of thinking "outside the box" on traffic generation. Paid traffic would get you quick results and help you focus on where to market, message, etc.

- Facebook is not out of the question (just has to be over 18 y/o, will segment out divorced/single men, specific to your metro/demo). You won't be able to run a risque image, but very simple:
"Clean Like You've Never Seen"
Our professional cleaning service will clean your house or apartment from top[less] to bottom. Click here to find out more.

- Paid Search (Google AW, Bing, etc)

- Craigslist, Backpage.com, USFreeAds, etc - Bombard them with a nice flyer, ensure it is in the proper category and list any limitations (must be 18+ y/o, adult services, etc).

Please keep post updated and we'll all pitch in and help as best we can...

I'm with Paqman on some points. I've got a startup and looked into advertising on FB..he's right. I also have the same concerns with Anonymity, Discretion, and Reliability.

In MI, I've talked with guys who know some guys...yea...that have this service. I've never seen any ads, but I don't fit the demographics either. The area where these guys live are a middle upper to upper income.

I worked in the strip club industry several years and it always amazed me that so many men really just wanted a beautiful woman to hang out with at the club (and yes they would pay just to sit with them).

I think there's a market for this but seems tough to find the right girls/customers, keep it private for the men, and secure for the women.

Keep us posted. Very interesting.

I was just going to say this.

Strip Joints are your market! I've gone to countless strip clubs and yes - a lot of guys just want to relax and talk to chicks.

With such a low budget, i'd hit up all the stripclubs in the state and see if you could setup some kind of agreement where the club owner could get paid on referrals.

Craigslist+
Any Adult Themed Magazine
Possibly Newspaper?
YOUTUBE++ (it's free!, could go viral if video is good)
Create a filter on Google and search for adult related news and see if you can get exposure ANYWHERE.

I'm not going to lie, with limited resources this will be pretty tough to promote, but there are a lot of free stuff mentioned above, that with some creativity could pull off some cool PR
