Hello all,

Glad to be apart of the forum. A quick background on myself; Did what I though "should" be done since that's what everyone told me to do. Went to school, got good grade, graduated college. Only real opportunity for me was in Phoenix, AZ so I went out there for a year.

Back in PA now with a new company however ever since I was seeking employment/been in the rat race that we call corporate america I always knew there was more then just 8 hours a day, 40 hours a week, for 40 years. A friend of mine told me about the Fastlane book so I gave it a shot and thought it was great. Have plenty of ideas now just need to fully think them out and execute.

Just wanted to introduce myself and say Hi since i will be on here from now on.

Thanks

I'm from the Philly area as well. And yea I'm sure the city will work to your advantage.

Welcome to the forum!

You probably shouldn't say that to someone who is from Killadelphia haha.

Ain't that the truth. Philly scares me. Every so often I have to go there to get back to Delaware and, well, let's just say that I understand why there's a 9 pm curfew.

haha you just have to know which parts to avoid.

I was up in NY for the first time last summer, I couldn't believe how much nicer some of the people were compared to Philly people. One random guy started to talk to me out of nowhere. Now that scared me, I didn't know what to do haha.

Same in any city, really. Just gotta know where to go. That said, I don't know where to go and where not to go in Philly.

I lived in one of the worst areas of philly when going to school haha, It got scary a few times but never had any problems besides my car getting broken into and losing a few side mirrors (I think I went through 6 side mirrors in my 4 years there, thank you junkyard for having so many ford escorts to take side mirrors from).

South street is good. Gets weird past 11 though. Old City is probably one of the safest places. And center city is great, I'm getting married right around there.

Where not to go - kensington, a lot of places, parks at night, and avoid Chester at all costs. If you see a sign for Chester on your way to Del. then stay away. I'm about 5-10 minutes from the heart of chester. Although Chester technically isn't Philly. But since they have the Harrah's Philadelphia casino and host the soccer games, you might as well consider it Philly now
