Sure seems like there's a LOT of money in Non-Profits/NGOs...

I've seen enough articles about suspicious practices to outright fraud that I'm skeptical of them all. I don't want to pursue anything distasteful but I'm wondering if there's legitimate opportunity here. Possibly something that:

a) helps people who need it, and
b) sends business to my for-profit business.

For example, I have an orthopedic shoe store. People tend to self-filter, but sometimes we get people who can't afford what they need. We try to help however we can, but if we had a partner nonprofit we could do a lot more.

Anyone have experience getting that government cheese?
