“Money is like a mischievous cat; if you chase it around the neighborhood, it eludes you. It hides up a tree, behind the rose bush, or in the garden. However, if you ignore it and focus on what attracts the cat, it comes to you and sits in your lap.” - MJ DeMarco
When MJ said this, I was having trouble really comprehending and figuring out how to put this into words in my own head so I could fully understand it. I was asking myself "What does he mean 'if I ignore money and figure out what attracts it' that then I'll get it? How does wanting money cause it to elude me?" Of course I read the book and understood that giving value = money, but the quote was still confusing me - until I watched this video. This guy really explains how adding value = money. Maybe it was just me, but I think if I was confused, then others might be too, and this video should be able to help you.
